Hormone Replacement

Natural hormone replacement (NHRT) refers to using hormones identical to human. This is sometimes referred to Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement. When a woman is in menopause or peri-menopause, many times she will choose hormone replacement to alleviate those symptoms. NHRT gives her a more natural method to accomplish that goal.

WHAT IS MENOPAUSE:

Menopause is the time in a woman's life when her ovaries have stopped releasing eggs. During this time, her estrogen levels and the levels of several other hormones drop, drastically. It is the end of the reproductive portion of her life. Unfortunately, many people, physicians, patients and the press only consider the drop of estrogen, not the drop of the other hormones. Prior to menopause, is the time of peri-menopause. During both peri-menopause and menopause, women begin to feel many of the classic symptoms. These symptoms include hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, low libido. Others include, weight gain, insomnia difficulty focusing, anxiety.
